Winter Sports Festival Again Successful
The 2010 Caroline County Winter Sports Festival was held March 6-7 at the Community Services Center in Bowling Green. This year’s event was again very successful and raised approximately $7,000 for youth-oriented programs. These programs include Operation: Shoebox, Harvey Jarmon Scholarship, 
Making Christmas Wishes Come True and support for such organizations as Cinderella’s Closet and Caroline County Little League. Various sponsors within and outside of Caroline County continue to support the Optimist Club in its mission to serve youth.The event is held annually in cooperation with the Caroline Parks and Recreation youth basketball awards ceremony.
